On Bacolod City

Bacolod City, which is also known as the city of smiles, is a refuge of people who want to enjoy modern and fast-paced living without suffering from traffic jams and pollution.
The people lives up to the city’s monicker: exhibiting the true spirit of hospitality of the Filipino people. I have been to many cities in the Philippines but the hospitality of my fellow Bacolodnons are one of a kind.
Wanna have some bite? Food in Bacolod City is affordable. You can eat a complete meal with 15 pesos only. But to taste the pride of the city, try chicken inasal at the Manokan Country, Chicken Deli or the Chicken House. Or dine at 18th Street Pala-Pala for seafoods. Then cater to your desire of sweets with cakes from the incomparable Calea. Before you go home, stop by Sugarlandia for Piaya, Barquillos and other Bacolod City delicacies. If you fancy fine restaurant dining, you can pick Bob’s and the numerous line of high end restaurants in the city.
